Ghana, land of the gold coast
Our tour takes us to West Africa, where Ghana has been known as the “Land of Gold Coast” for centuries. The region’s vast deposits of gold made it a major center of trade and commerce, and Ghana’s ancient kingdoms were renowned for their wealth and power. Today, gold mining remains an important industry in Ghana, and the country is one of the world’s top producers of the precious metal.

Day 5: Mole National Park
Head northwest to Mole National Park, a wildlife reserve that is home to elephants, antelopes, warthogs, and other animals. Take a guided safari tour to explore the park and see its wildlife up close.
Day 6: Tamale
Visit Tamale, the largest city in northern Ghana. Take a tour of the Tamale Central Market, which is known for its colorful fabrics and handicrafts. Then head to the nearby Larabanga Mosque, which is one of the oldest mosques in West Africa and is known for its unique architecture.
Day 7: Lake Volta
Travel east to Lake Volta, the largest man-made lake in the world. Take a boat tour of the lake to see its scenic views and learn about the local fishing industry. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Ghanaian meal and cultural performance before returning to Accra.
