Why I Link Like a Lunatic
🕸️ Why I Link Like a Lunatic (and Why You Should Too)
If your brain is like a buzzing beehive of brilliant ideas (mine sure is), then your blog might look like a bookshelf after an earthquake: ideas everywhere, but good luck finding that gem you swore you wrote in 2023.
This, my friends, is why I link like a caffeinated spider on deadline.
🧠 Your Brain Has Tabs Open – So Should Your Blog
Let me tell you a tale:
I once wrote a post about AI rowing oars. (Yes, oars.) It was a parable about direction and teamwork in tech. Months later, I built a guide on using Codex GPT for content automation. Did I mention the oar story? Nope. Missed opportunity to say, “Hey, this isn’t just code — it’s part of a bigger vision!”
Moral of the story?
If your blog doesn’t link your thoughts, your readers (and future you) won’t either.
🪢 Internal Linking = Mental Breadcrumbs
Here’s what happens when I don’t link:
- I rewrite the same advice like I’ve got wisdom-based amnesia.
- Readers say, “This is great! Wait… didn’t she already write this?”
- I search my own blog and fall into a rabbit hole of “Wait… when did I say that?!”
Now? I’m building internal linking like it’s hot.
(Also the title of one of my posts. Ahem. [#self-reference flex])
🔍 Examples from My Own Chaos (a.k.a. “Research”)
- My affiliate marketing tips on Fleeky ONE?
They finally link back to the hilarious Amazon VIP origin story on WA where I made my first sale in pajamas. - My sleek content calendar guide?
Now linked to the “Referrals: What I Got Wrong” saga … because let’s face it, strategy without storytelling is tofu without sauce. - Even SEO hacks on Fleeky ONE now nod to confused community cries on WA like “Clicking Around and Still Lost?”
🛠️ What Linking Really Does
- It saves your brain from starting over.
- It shows your growth … “Look! I used to think X, now I’ve evolved to Y!”
- It gives readers a rabbit trail they want to follow (instead of bouncing to someone else’s site).
🚀 TL;DR for Your Inner Genius
Link your posts. All of them.
Think of it as braiding your thoughts into a storyline. A world. A universe of you-ness.
Because your ideas are better when they’re connected … like neurons, like constellations, like that time I tied together AI, SEO, pajamas, and personal branding into one happy mess.
And yes… I did just link that mess.
